Derived from hemp and non-psychoactive

CBD (Cannabidiol) is one of the many cannabinoids (among more than a hundred) present in the plant scientifically named CBD Sativa L or more commonly called CBD and/or hemp. CBD-rich products offer different concentrations of CBD expressed in MG or in percentage.

The hemp grown and used for cannabidiol (CBD) extraction comes from hemp varieties with a low THC content, the psychoactive molecule associated with CBD, which is narcotic and prohibited in France, but contains a high CBD content.

Cannabidiol (CBD) is not a psychoactive substance and is not prohibited in France. You can therefore enjoy the benefits of hemp and the contributions of CBD for your body in the same way as any other food supplement, such as vitamin C for example.

CBD in your body! The endocannabinoid system.
We distinguish phytocannabinoids, coming from the plant, from endocannabinoids, secreted by the human body.

There is in the human body, what is called the “endocannabinoid system”, it is a set of receptors sensitive to phyto and endocannabinoids that regulates essential biological functions, such as sleep, appetite, mood, stress, etc..

The CBD from the plant (phytocannabinoid) once consumed, activates these receptors at the synapses where neurotransmitters and neuroreceptors exchange a chemical message already known by the human body. This is the reason why the effects of CBD are so real and felt so quickly, CBD is fixed and transformed into a nervous message by the receptors of an existing physiological circuit.

CBD, a food supplement 100% legal in France.

The marketing of CBD in France and in Europe raises political issues related to the narcotic character and the negative image of CBD, which has many other applications. There are also scientific issues at stake since, although the therapeutic properties of CBD have been predicted in numerous preclinical and clinical studies, they are not recognized in all countries, such as France, which, through the ANSM (Agence Nationale de Sécurité du Médicament), is asking for more research and time to endorse the first clinical results.

Other countries have chosen a different path, authorizing and supervising for a long time what is often called “medical CBD”, i.e. the use of cannabinoids CBD and THC for their therapeutic properties.

Products rich in CBD are food supplements and the EU sets a maximum authorized threshold of 0.20% THC in a finished product. Below this threshold, the concentration of THC in the product is considered negligible, the psychoactive effects non-existent. Above this THC threshold, the product becomes a narcotic under the law. It should be noted that the status of CBD’s therapeutic properties differs even within the EU countries and that the ANSM, without officially recognizing it, authorizes (via ATU) CBD-based treatments. Culture and traceability in Europe

The European Union and France are among the leading growers, producers and exporters of industrial hemp behind China. European producers are now much more attentive to the environmental and health impact of their production. Indeed, to obtain the organic label, the crops must respect a set of strict standards and controls of the European legislation. The cultures of European hemp producers intended for the manufacture of CBD oils and other cannabidiol products respect a culture without GMO, without pesticides with a complete traceability.

CBD oils distributed by CBDISSIMO® are exclusively “Made In Europe”, legal, traceable, without pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and without traces of heavy metals. CBD and CBD oils are 100% natural food supplements and are perfectly suited to vegan diets.

Extraction with Co2, the reference

The supercritical Co2 extraction technology avoids any organic solvent during the extraction of hemp and preserves the active compounds of the plant during the process.

Demand only the best, CO2 extraction is the leading technology and the healthiest way to consume CBD oils today. CO2 extraction is done at low temperature and therefore without altering the compounds, it is a clean and organic technology, suitable for natural products, such as essential oils.
